The Asset Building Coalition is building awareness about asset poverty and the major impact it has on individuals, families, and our local community. We promote and support coordinated strategies that everyone can work on together to build asset wealth for a more resilient Forsyth County.
Forsyth Family Power
Forsyth Family Power is a community-powered, community-led movement dedicated to ensuring every child in Forsyth County has the resources they need to thrive, from before birth through their careers. By connecting education, healthcare, safety, and community well-being, we are transforming our community into a place where all children and youth can succeed and grow.

The Peoples’ Research Council
The Peoples’ Research Council (PRC) is a community-led initiative that empowers local residents to take charge of research efforts aimed at improving life in Forsyth County and Winston-Salem. By prioritizing transparency, accountability, and the leadership of marginalized communities, the PRC shifts the focus of research from institutional interests to serving the needs and experiences of the people it impacts.

The Pre-K Priority
The Pre-K Priority is a coalition of community organizations and individuals dedicated to expanding access to affordable, high-quality Pre-K for all four-year-olds in Forsyth County. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration with civic leaders, we strive to build a comprehensive Pre-K system that ensures every child has a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
